This can be remedied with co-healers but the fact that the Vestel can do that job without any co-healing at all says a lot. We all love it when the Occultist pushes out a full-bar heal, but it is literally his only option - one that can fail or even crit-fail and leave people bleeding for good measure. I know what it's like when you have an important character super low and you just want to alleviate the pressure with phat heals, but again, a lot of what people should be aiming for in DD is to prevent healing being needed in the first-place, not banking priority into bigger single-target heals, of which the Occultist has only one option in that regard. The fact the Vestal can get the entire group off DD alone is stronger than any single-target heal. He's usually even better than vestal to have in most cases.

The Occultist is good because he is fast, versatile and can do massive damage which helps you to kill the enemies before they can ever get a chance to move.

With a fast party with a good stun set up you can often go through an entire fight with barely even getting hit. It's actually way better simply to never take the damage to begin with. People get used to face tanking and healing with her which is a rather shakey strategy in the higher level dungeons since it doesn't matter how tough your tanks are if something like a giant crits on them or the stress starts to pile up. I do however recomend that you take along some minor healer or self healers with him if you are attempting something particularly vicious since you can whiff with him. Although he doesn't have the godly group heal, his single target heal is on average considerably better than the Vestal's and the rest of his kit blows her's out of the water. It comes down to taste, but I generally prefer an Occultist over a Vestal in the higher level dungeons.
